[안동=황악신문] 김서업 기자=경북도의회의 신공항이전지원특별위원회(위원장 이우청)는 2일 제4차 회의를 열어 새해 활동의 시작했다.

새해 첫 업무보고는 통합신공항추진본부장 이남억으로부터 받았으며, 신공항 배후 공항신도시 조성 등 현재 진행 중인 주요 프로젝트에 대한 질의응답과 토론으로 이어졌다.

위원회는 대구시와의 협력을 통해 스마트 항공물류단지, 항공산업클러스터, 농식품산업클러스터, 모빌리티 특화 주거지 등 다양한 권역별 개발 프로젝트에 주력할 것을 강조했다. 또한 연구 용역에 다양한 분야의 전문가 참여를 촉구하여 사업의 탄탄한 기반 마련을 주문했다.

이우청 위원장은 "대구경북신공항 건설사업이 경북의 미래를 위한 중대한 프로젝트임을 강조하며, 올해가 사업 본격화의 중요한 시점임을 상기시켰다. 이에 최선을 다할 것을 위원회에 당부했다.

신공항이전지원특별위원회는 2022년 10월 구성되어, 통합신공항의 원활한 추진과 개항 준비, 연관 산업 및 인프라 구축을 지원하기 위해 노력 중이다.

Gyeongsangbuk-do Provincial Assembly's New Airport Relocation Support Special Committee Focuses on New Year's Issues

[Andong=Hwangak Newspaper] Reporter Kim Seo-up = The New Airport Relocation Support Special Committee of the Gyeongsangbuk-do Provincial Assembly, chaired by Lee Woo-cheong, held its 4th meeting on the 2nd, marking the start of its activities for the new year.

The first work report of the new year was received from Lee Nam-yeok, the head of the Integrated New Airport Promotion Headquarters, followed by a Q&A and discussion session on major ongoing projects, including the construction of a new airport city behind the new airport.

The committee emphasized collaboration with Daegu City to focus on various regional development projects such as smart aviation logistics complexes, aviation industry clusters, agri-food industry clusters, and mobility-specialized residential areas. It also called for the participation of experts from various fields in research services to ensure a solid foundation for the projects.

Chairman Lee Woo-cheong stressed the importance of the Daegu-Gyeongbuk New Airport construction project for the future of Gyeongsangbuk-do, reminding that this year is a crucial point for the commencement of the project and urged the committee to give their best effort.

Formed in October 2022, the New Airport Relocation Support Special Committee is working to support the smooth progress and opening preparations of the integrated new airport, as well as the development of related industries and infrastructure.
